Trecho interessante de um livro que caiu nas minhas mãos nesse final de semana, no Tibá, centro de permacultura…
However, should such a fundamental human and planetary crisis occur, what will follow would depend in a large measure on what has been produced as “seed-ideas” before the crisis. If no seeds fall into the ground during late summer and early autumn, there can be no new vegetation when a new spring comes after the long wintry death. “To produce such ‘seed-ideas’ is the function of the true philosopher and also of the true creative artist”; in a deep sense the two are one, even though in terms of outer achievements they can be and usually are differentiated.
No entanto, caso aconteça uma crise fundamental humana e planetária, o que se seguirá vai depender em grande medida do que foi sendo produzido como ‘idéias-semente’ antes da crise. Se nenhuma semente cair no solo entre o final do verão e o início do outono, poderá não haver nova vegetação quando a nova primavera chegar após um longo inverno. ‘A produção das tais ‘idéias-semente’ é função do verdadeiro filósofo e também do verdadeiro artista criativo; num sentido profundo, ambos são um só, mesmo que geralmente possam ser e geralmente sejam diferenciados.
